About Us

On September 14, 2012, The Foxie G Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit, was established to honor the memory and zest for life of a charismatic, retired racehorse named Foxie G. Our organization focuses on retired Thoroughbred racehorses and broodmares that need the most help. Injured racehorses, broodmares whose breeding days are over, slaughter bound Thoroughbreds and those in neglect situations have found a safe haven here at Foxie G. Through our rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and permanent retirement programs, we provide a brighter future for horses that were often facing an uncertain one.

In addition to the horses, felines can not be forgotten. Non socialized or feral cats roam the farming community where we are based. They live a difficult life, not knowing where their next meal is coming from, where they can seek shelter and never receiving veterinary care. Our feline spay/neuter, colony care, adoption and sanctuary programs gives these often unwanted cats a soft landing after a hard start at life.
